I am always on the lookout for fun brooches for my cardigans. One day at a local gift shop I found the perfect sweater brooch, fun vintage graphics adhered to a clear lightweight button. Unlike heavier glass and ceramic brooches, this one would not stretch or weigh down my knitted garments.
I bought two, took them home and set out to find the designer. To my surprise, it turned out to be a friend of mine! She was transitioning into full-time jewelry design and these brooches were her first sale to a shop. So, of course, I convinced her to create a line of brooches just for cocoknits!
