Vote For My Next Pattern

Every 4-6 weeks I'll feature a selection of my new knitting projects. You'll have the opportunity to influence which patterns I actually write and offer on the website. The project with the most votes at the end of one week will be the first pattern I write.
Prairie Boots
Comfy and cozy prairie boots will get you through the coldest of winters. Turn them down for ankle length or leave them up to keep your shins warm. There is no seaming, just add funky buttons and they are ready to wear. Warning: it is so fun to watch them take shape on your needles that you may become addicted. But that’s okay, they make great gifts!
Petra Sweater
Petra is knitted in one piece back and forth on size 11 circular needles. The diagonal points angle down in front and the waist is shaped for a flattering fit. It is easy to alter for custom length, in fact, it would be cute cropped. The sample is knitted in Rowan Polar but would work with any chunky weight yarn (3 sts to the inch).
Habu Scarf
This scarf is knitted sideways, the slight ruffles are created by binding off and then casting on sts with the Mohair tam (the outer stripes). Because of this, the center garter stitch section is worked on only half the stitches so it’s a fairly quick knit. Because it is not a terribly long scarf, I worked a slit into the center section to keep it cozy around the neck.
